On the boat

Finally got the boat in the water...everything takes longer in Mexico. We sailed to a cove called catalina about 12 miles away. Not much wind and choppy ...poor Evan got sea sick and some how managed to keep his lunch down. On our way back it was so cool...the sun was setting , the wind picked up and the breeze was cool. We didn't get into the slip till 830 and the guys were great at the dock ...we slid into the slip in in the dark so gentle and quiet. They guys were so tired...we went to a nearby taco stand cause we were really hungry. Evan and Eugene fell asleep eary last night...finally wore them out!

Mishap day

Here we are discussing heavy things... well...just things

Watching the sunset from the beach at the soggy peso

Sunday

Oh man...went out snorkeling in the morning ...and Eugene left his camera in his pocket and it is dead.
On the way back I got pulled over and had to go the police station and paid the big bucks
Accidentally called a girl a bad name at a church we were visiting...we were told that I said something really bad and I knew instantly as these girls had a horrified look oin their face.

All day things went south ....but the end of the day was awesome as we talked and watched the sun set on the water...had great great talks about all kinds of things.
Eugene on the other hand has a feminine side....we are going to work on that

I am so sorry...Evan has turned a bad corner and has become a bandido! Dont know about the hand loose sign. He is one bad lookin hombre.

last night we went to yoiuth group party on the beach...the boys were invited earlier in the day. They jumped all over it when they heard that there were going to to be girls there (ha just kidding). We had a blast! The temp was perfect the people were awesome and the water was bathtub warm....

Welp....more later the boys are ready to go snorkeling and then off to Miramar where we are going to church.

See....here is Evan worshipping the Lord at the casa

Tacos with my buddy Dave, a missionary in Guaymas....tacos on the street! The boys thought they were awesome!

The house is pretty cool....cant help but sing praises to the Lord and pray and thank the Lord for his grace!

Hazy....lots of humidity and it kindof looks like fog.

We made it

Here is the marina this morning...very overcast and very humid it is about 88 degrees
We are taking off for a tour of the area. Slept so so good. Last night after the excitement of staying in casa vida dulce we found a scorpian and cockroaches the size of a small dog. All is good and we are having a blast. This morning we talked about the emptiness of riches.

This is the squad car that picked up the boys for eating tacos without salsa. They were later released on good behavior but they are on probation and must eat 20 tacos with salsa. Just kidding.....no arrests

Cheap gas in Arizona and I mean the stuff you put in your car.....and crossing the border. The border security was stepped up a bit but no problems at all and no signs of violence. I spoke with a Mexican officer and they said that there has been no violence on the main highway

After a good nights rest in Indio we took for.....Starbucks! Got a ways to go so we need to stay alert!!!

110 degrees in Phoenix!

Had to count on another friend to keep me awake

So I was hoping that Evan and Eugene could keep me awake but as you can see they were not available

Do these boys look like they have seen 5 a.m. in a long time? They look delerious
